This September, the Localret Consortium , with the support of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia , will promote the first edition of the local world cybersecurity congress . Aimed at local entities, the meeting will seek to share knowledge, experiences, proposals and good practices within a strategic area for public administrations. The event will take place on September 17 and 18 at the Badalona International Business Center, located at Marcus Porcius Street, number 1, in the town of Badalona. Specifically, the day will bring together the local world with the aim of addressing new cybersecurity challenges such as, for example, artificial intelligence and quantum computing, through presentations, round tables and workshops. The first edition of the local world cybersecurity congress will share use cases, present emerging technologies and propose practical learning to strengthen the protection of networks, systems and digital services. More than twenty-five expert voices will be part of the event, including Andreu Francisco, general director of the Localret Consortium; Laura Caballero, director of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia; Albert Tort, secretary of Telecommunications and Digital Transformation of the Generalitat of Catalonia; Daniel Rodríguez, general director of Redtrust, and Joan Ruiz, network and security systems engineer.
