Next Thursday, April 23, will mark the International Day of Girls in ICT, a key day to give visibility to the opportunities offered by new technologies to girls, women and girls, break with gender stereotypes and promote a more diverse, more equitable and more inclusive digital transformation. In this context and as part of the latest edition of All Digital Weeks , from March 23 to 27, All Digital has promoted the 'Girls in Digital Week' campaign, a European initiative dedicated to inspiring, empowering and encouraging girls to explore opportunities within the digital sphere. The initiative, which has been developed throughout Europe, has focused on reducing the gender gap in digital fields, as well as promoting inclusion, creativity and local innovation. In this sense, the 'Girls in Digital Week' campaign has sought to create safe and supportive spaces where girls can increase their digital skills, organize practical workshops and coding activities, raise awareness about the value of diversity and representation within the technological field, and give visibility to institutions, companies and entities that inspire girls to learn about digital options and STEM disciplines, contribute to building a more diverse, equitable and inclusive technological ecosystem, and support European priorities around digital skills and digital competences.
Within the framework of International Girls in ICT Day, All Digital has promoted an initiative dedicated to empowering and encouraging girls to explore opportunities within the digital field.
